Industry Leader, GENY™ Hitch, commits to “Healing Hearts and Homes with Hitches” through fundraising effort for FCDC

INDIANA– GENY Hitch is incredibly grateful for the way that people/customers have embraced their products and their brand as a whole, and want to give back to their community. They have been involved with a local non-profit in Northern Indiana called the “Family Christian Development Center” for some time now, and will be using the month of July to give back a portion of the proceeds from July from the sales of one of their hitches to this worthy organization.

Carl Borkholder, founder and owner of GENY Hitch, thinks it is incredibly important to give back locally and improve the lives of those in their own backyard.

“It is our job to not simply run a successful business, but to use that business to do good in the community that we live in,” said Borkholder. “We see this as an opportunity to improve the lives of those who need a good hitch with our Geny Industries’ PATENTED torsion receiver hitch, with built-in rubber suspension, and a chance to further support Family Christian Development Center and the amazing work they are doing right here in our community.”

Borkholder said they would give $40 of each of these hitches that sell during the month of July directly to FCDC at their annual “Farm to Table” dinner event, July 30.

Family Christian Development Center (which is celebrating there 20 th year) is located in Nappanee, Indiana. Their Mission Statement is to see lives transformed and the life of the community enhanced by encouraging the oppressed, defending the cause of the weak, and maintaining the rights of the poor by bringing together the resources of the caring community as a demonstration of the good news of Jesus Christ. The foundations of Gen·Y Hitch were based upon the involvement of Carl in the recreational vehicle industry centered in nearby Elkhart County, Indiana as well as Carl’s involvement in the ownership and operation of a business which provided commercial tree care services. They have grown to be a multi-million dollar company in just five years and have been featured on the Worldwide Business w/Kathy Ireland™ Show & MotorHead Garage TV Series.
