The BOSS Torsion-Flex Weight Distribution Shank provides one of the smoothest rides you’ll ever experience. This product is a drop mount cushion shank that gives you the choice of a 6.5” – 11” adjustable drop, making it extremely versatile. Fabricated from heavy-duty steel, this shank is finished with a silver-vein powder coat.
The benefits of this product are further enhanced by its use of GEN Y’s patented Torsion-Flex technology. This technology helps reduce the damage your truck and trailer may experience from extended use by offering a smoother towing experience with more control for the driver.
These shanks are available in 2”, 2 ½”, and 3” sizes and you can choose 10,000, 16,000, or 21.000lb towing rates to ensure that everything works together in a safe and approved way. The BOSS Weight Distribution Shank also works with any weight distribution system, making it a great option for a wide variety of trailers.

Super product! This thing is a BEAST! Immediately noticed a much smoother ride. Easy transfer of my Weight Distribution hitch head with no adjustments needed. I was considering a competitive product which uses an airbag but much more $$$$. Outstanding customer support/knowledge coupled with a superior product led me to purchase the Gen-Y BOSS (Torsion-Flex). Only regret….. I did not make the purchase sooner. Performs as advertised. This hitch is beefy beyond all beef. I don’t think there is another beefier hitch out there on the market than this hitch.
If some people think that the price is beyond reasonable, you better think about what is the value of what you are towing. If you’re not towing anything like a racecar trailer than you’re probably not towing anything of value or important to you, than this hitch may not be what you need. However, Gen-Y does have other hitches for the light and inexpensive stuff.

I’ve rarely been as satisfied with a purchase in my entire life. This hitch is incredibly stout, and works mind-blowingly well.
I was totally surprised just how effective the torsion-flex system was at isolating the truck/trailer movement. I felt very little of the trailer movement – even on big bumps.
I can’t recommend this product enough – best hitch I’ve ever owned hands down.

Using between an F350 and 10k gvwr travel trailer with weight distribution. If there was any shock between truck & trailer, there isn’t anymore. Works as advertised. No noticeable reduction in towing or backing performance.

Had purchased a used 6” drop Boss Torsion Flex hitch with weight distribution. Loved it! Purchased a new tow vehicle requiring the a longer drop. Told my wife I am not towing a camper unless we purchase the new hitch. Takes the jostling out that you feel while towing and makes the ride feel smooth and safe. Highly recommend. Worth the cost.
