The GEN-Y Skid Plate is an aluminum, clear-coated cover that slides over a 2 inch hitch shank to protect it from road debris, impact, and weather exposure when the hitch isn't in use. It helps prevent corrosion and cosmetic wear on the shank and stacked tube over time, and installs directly over the receiver without modification.

The GEN-Y Skid Plate is designed for a 2 inch hitch shank. Confirm your hitch's shank size before ordering if you have a 2.5 inch or 3 inch receiver hitch, since a larger shank size is not currently offered for this product.

The GEN-Y Skid Plate is made from aluminum with a clear-coated finish.
