The PHANTOM is GEN-Y HITCH's adjustable drop hitch built for half-ton trucks and SUVs handling lighter duty towing. Available in two models, the PHANTOM and PHANTOM-X, both use a stacked tube design that lets you adjust the ball mount up or down to dial in the exact drop or rise your trailer needs, rather than being locked into one fixed height.

Capacities run from 5,000 lbs on the base PHANTOM up to 16,000 lbs on the PHANTOM-X, and the PHANTOM-XT adds GEN-Y HITCH's Torsion-Flex suspension to the same adjustable platform for towers who want shock absorption without stepping up to a heavier-duty hitch. All three work in both the drop and rise position.

Accessories built specifically for this line include the PHANTOM Replacement Ball Mount, PHANTOM Serrated Hitch Step, and PHANTOM-XL Hitch Step, so you can add a boot-scraper step or swap a worn ball mount without hunting for a generic part that may not fit the PHANTOM's specific dimensions.

If your truck and trailer combination exceeds half-ton capacity, the MEGA-DUTY line covers the same adjustable stacked tube design at higher weight ratings, from 10,000 to 32,000 lbs.
