The MEGA-DUTY is GEN-Y HITCH's original adjustable drop hitch line, built for towers who need one hitch that covers a wide range of trailer heights without buying a fixed-drop hitch for every setup. Capacities run from 10,000 lbs up to 32,000 lbs across the 10K, 16K, 21K, and 32K models, and every MEGA-DUTY works in both the rise and drop position, so the same hitch can level a taller trailer or a lower one depending on what you're pulling that day.
The stacked tube design is the core of how it works: pull the pin, slide to a different position, and re-pin, no tools or separate hitch swap required. Each model offers multiple adjustable positions, and most are available with a dual-ball mount, a dual-ball mount with pintle lock, or as an adjustable receiver only if you already have ball mounts you want to keep using.
For a version with GEN-Y HITCH's Torsion-Flex suspension built in, see the BOSS line, which uses the same adjustable stacked tube design but adds shock absorption between the truck and trailer. If you tow year-round with a heavier trailer and don't need the suspension feature, MEGA-DUTY is the more budget-friendly way to get the same adjustability.
