The GEN-Y BOSS 32K Torsion-Flex Drop Hitch (SKU GH-2114) is a fully adjustable steel drop hitch rated to tow 32,000 pounds with a 3,500 pound tongue weight, when used with the larger 3/4 inch pin. Rubber torsion arms isolate the trailer connection from the tow vehicle, and owners report up to 90% smoother towing compared to a rigid hitch.
This hitch ships with both 5/8 inch and 3/4 inch pin hole options, but the two pin sizes aren't interchangeable at full rating: using the 5/8 inch pin hole derates the hitch to 21,000 pounds, and you need the 3/4 inch pin to tow at the full 32,000 pound capacity. Always confirm which pin you're using before loading toward the higher rating.
It's available with a 2.5 inch or 3 inch receiver shank (3 inch only on select Ford trucks built after 2017), and it adjusts through a 6 inch drop with 4 positions or a 9 inch drop with 5 positions depending on which configuration you order. Every unit includes a dual ball mount with 2 inch and 2 5/16 inch balls, and a pintle lock is included or available as an add-on depending on the hitch option you choose. GEN-Y designed it for lunette rings of 1.5 inches or smaller.
Because the tow vehicle and trailer track independently through the torsion arms, you get more control over sway and more even braking across both vehicles compared to towing on a rigid connection. GEN-Y builds the BOSS line across four capacities, 10K, 16K, 21K, and 32K, so if 32,000 pounds is more than you need, the same torsion-flex design is available at lower ratings too.
The BOSS 32K is fabricated from heavy-duty steel and finished in a durable powder coat, weighing 113 pounds. It's made in the USA. The rubber torsion components carry a 5 year warranty, with a limited lifetime warranty on the remaining hardware, and you can upgrade to a lifetime torsion warranty on the rubber and connecting hardware as an add-on. This hitch is not rated for winching or side-load applications, give it a 500 mile break-in period once installed, and tow capacity is always limited by the lowest rated component in your setup.
Always stay within the tongue weight specified for your exact model number and pin configuration, and never exceed the rated capacity on any trailer coupling or vehicle receiver hitch.
