    I admit I’m surprised on exactly how well the torsion hitch system works (GH-1324). Towing some things around in FL of various weights I was surprised on how well the hitch separates trailer motion from the truck. Driving over a couple of overpass transitions that were far from smooth made me wince the first time or two thinking the trailer was going to bounce fairly rough but the hitch system kept the movement surprisingly smooth. Would absolutely recommend this hitch to anyone seeking a more comfortable tow.

    Two things I will recommend to some people…

    (1) if not using a WD system in addition to the hitch, bring some chain extensions as your trailers chains may have a hard time reaching the hook points since this hitch sticks out a good bit.

    (2) LOCK IT! Can’t believe how many people I’ve seen on truck forums complain about their pricier hitches getting stolen, at $600+ I thought this would be a given.

    After way to much research and what seems 10,000 questions to my local dealer and even multiple emails to the factory I purchased this hitch.
    Initial reaction……. Wow, its impressive.

    I have towed everything from a skid steer to my Ranger boat. I can’t believe I didn’t buy one sooner. it is buy far the most impressive hitch i have ever owned.

    If there is a down side to it………. its big and heavy, you will for the most part need chain externisons.
    But well worth it.
