The BOSS Torsion-Flex is the innovative fusion of the MEGA-DUTY drop hitch and TORSION-FLEX technology. The BOSS can apply to many types of customers including oilfield fleets, heavy-duty construction contractors, and government vehicles. In addition to being heavy-duty, fully adjustable, and versatile, the BOSS also contains rubber torsion arms. Therefore, only 10% of the trailer inertia transfers compared to 100% when using a hard connection hitch. The 90% smoother ride allows customers to glide instead of bounce, therefore increasing gas mileage. Since the tow vehicle and trailer track independently, customers gain greater control and safety through the reduction in sway and trailer bounce. Customers also secure greatly increased braking control because all of the weight on the tow vehicle and trailer is distributed evenly. I admit I’m surprised on exactly how well the torsion hitch system works (GH-1324). Towing some things around in FL of various weights I was surprised on how well the hitch separates trailer motion from the truck. Driving over a couple of overpass transitions that were far from smooth made me wince the first time or two thinking the trailer was going to bounce fairly rough but the hitch system kept the movement surprisingly smooth. Would absolutely recommend this hitch to anyone seeking a more comfortable tow.
Two things I will recommend to some people…
(1) if not using a WD system in addition to the hitch, bring some chain extensions as your trailers chains may have a hard time reaching the hook points since this hitch sticks out a good bit.
(2) LOCK IT! Can’t believe how many people I’ve seen on truck forums complain about their pricier hitches getting stolen, at $600+ I thought this would be a given.

After way to much research and what seems 10,000 questions to my local dealer and even multiple emails to the factory I purchased this hitch.
Initial reaction……. Wow, its impressive.
I have towed everything from a skid steer to my Ranger boat. I can’t believe I didn’t buy one sooner. it is buy far the most impressive hitch i have ever owned.
If there is a down side to it………. its big and heavy, you will for the most part need chain externisons.
But well worth it.

I purchased this hitch in either 2017 or 2018 and use it once a year when we tow a trailer with 4 harley-davidson motorcycles (2 ultra classics and 2 street glides) to Myrtle Beach for their fall rally. I purchased this hitch due to the reviews on how it performs. To say it does exactly as reported is a under statement. First time using the hitch I kept looking in my side mirrors to make sure the trailer was still there!! So smooth and no jerking or pulling. We keep track of our mileage and with this hitch we got 1 1/2 to 2 miles per gallon better fuel economy verses when we used a regular hitch. Same vehicle with the same trailer and similar motorcycles. My friends thought I was crazy for buying this hitch to use only for a once a year trip but until you use one and realize how it totally changes how your vehicle handles while towing its a makes towing a pure pleasure. Thanks for a awesome product!!

Looking at it you, I’m not spending 1000 on a hitch. I did, but after I used a friends put it on and towed my trailer 20’stacker only one 3200lb car and other stuff 12k total it was Amazing how well it towed. And that’s with a 45’Renagade coach with a tag that can tow 30k. Got home ordered that day. Love it.
